Sky Scenes

Vapor trails sometimes make interesting sky scenes. The twilight pic was taken several years ago, in the fall of 2010. The winter scene may be more recent. Intersecting white lines in the sky remind me of the start of the old movie "Pressure Point."

Those are spectacular pictures. You're right; vapor trails in the sky are interesting. I often see planes flying overhead in this area. Little Rock Air Force Base is about 85 miles from Dover. It was my last duty station during my enlistment in the Air Force.

Glad you like it. :) I have a recent pic showing vapor tails in the same area but it’s not as good.

Won't you post on Trump's decision regarding the US embassy moving to Jerusalem tax cuts and the plan for another manned moon landing?

Often Trump makes little sense. He’s about to get his tax cut legislation passed, and at the same time wants NASA to return to the Moon. How can he pay the enormous cost of a manned lunar landing after cutting taxes and hence slashing government revenue? The US is already operating in the red with current expenses and revenue, so how is this possible?

Trump’s foreign policy appears as misguided as his economics. He wants to move the US embassy in Israel to Jerusalem—a great way to make more enemies in the Mideast and doom whatever hope remains for Israel—Palestinian peace.

Trump is making a huge number of mistakes in both foreign and domestic affairs. That tax cut is only going to benefit people who are extremely rich. As for that statement on moving the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, it will cost the U.S. a lot of support in the Middle East. Extremist groups are likely to get more active and attacks on Americans in the Middle East could substantially increase. As we know, there will be many congressional elections in 2018. The Republicans may lose many seats in Congress. They should never have nominated Trump. He's an idiot who has no idea of how to do the job of being president.
